Mid-Air Temple at Mount Heng
恒山悬空寺
Mid-Air Temple First built during the Northern Wei Dynasty,the Midair Temple is located at the cliff belween the peaks of Tianfengling and the Cuipingfeng of the Hengshan Mountains. The whole temple was built on the rock face of a sheer cliff, and the highest place in the temple is about 50 meters above ground, like suspending on the cliff face. The temple has more than 40 halls and rooms, housing 78 bronzeiron, colored clay and stone statues.
悬空寺初建于北魏,位于天峰岭和翠屏峰之间的悬崖。整个寺庙建在一处陡峭悬崖的岩石表面,最高的地方离地面约50米,就像悬浮在悬崖壁上。殿里有超过40个大厅和房间,寺内有铜、铁、石、泥佛像78尊。
