It had been widely acknowledged that the dragon image originated during the Han Dynasty over 2 200 years ago,until the shocking discovery in 1988 of“the First Dragon of China” . A dragon image built of shells from over 6 000 years ago,at the Ruins of Yangshao Culture in Puyang,Henan Province, which already possessed the major characteristics of later dragon images.
