《女神》
Goddess，Guo Moruo's first anthology of new verses，initiated a new style of poetic creation with its brand-new content and form. It is generally regarded as the founding work of modern Chinese poetry. Through a close integration of the spirit of the May Fourth Movement with the creative individuality of the poet，Goddess embodies strongly and adequately the poet's democratic ideal and his call for the naissance of a new world.
