Traditional Chinese ethics includes many aspects with both good and bad elements, among which some reflect the high standard of moral pursuit of the Chinese people and the ethical wisdom of lasting value，while some elements are old and awkward because of historical，classical and social reasons. The attitude we should adopt towards traditional Chinese ethical doctrines is to advocate the gem of the ethical thoughts and throw away the waste matter so as to develop the ethical spirit with Chinese characteristic and modern characteristic.
中国传统伦理道德包括很多方面有好的和坏的原理，其中一些反映了中国人民对高水准的伦理道德和伦理智慧持久的价值的追求，而有些原理因为其历史、古典和社会原因显得古老而不太合适。我们对中国传统的道德教条应该采用取其精华去其糟粕的态度，以发展中国特色和现代特色的伦理精神。
